Wheel drive

This wheel drive outputs 40Nm of force on the wheel. It can steer any boat up to 8000kg (17000 lbs.). It can practically steer any boat as long as the wheel steers light enough. Shipping expected April 2025

The wheel drive is currently in development and shipments start April 2025 after the sea trials have been completed. If we don't meet this date, you can either get a refund or wait a bit longer.

The final development will have probably different installation methods and or bracket so suit any kind of boat. Before shipping, we will ask you which mounting option you want.

It is powered with a strong Brushless DC motor with position feedback. The position feedback makes the control algorithm more precise using less current. This eliminates the need for a separate rudder position sensor.
