Every rudder can be controlled whether it is a tiller, wheel, hydraulic or outboard motor. The autopilot supports any 12/24v motor up to 43 Amps.

The software is written in C++ and is open source. The hardware is also open source. The motor driver, esp32, compass and fuse are modular and included in the box. It is technically possible to build it yourself, and is definitely easy to repair.
