This autopilot is used in many different boats and configurations. Here are some examples of installations. Wether is a small 10ft dinghy or a 50ft sailboat, the autopilot can be installed in many different ways.
There is an active Facebook group Where people share setups and answer questions. The group is moderated by me and is a great place to start if you have questions about the autopilot. The group is also a great place to share your setup and help others.

A big motorboat using an Toyota Prius Electrical Power Steering Unit. The boat originally uses chains and rods to steer. the EPS unit has little resistance when off. You also benefit from lighter steering
