Autopilot for your existing drive

Your drive is probably fine; it is the old control head that died or never had an app. The Nautinect controller drives any brushed 12 or 24 V DC motor up to 43 A: Raymarine linear drives and wheel pilot motors, ST4000/ST7000 drives, Simrad and Navico drives, home-built linear actuators.

Questions from owners

Yes. Any brushed DC drive works, and 3-wire potentiometer rudder sensors from Raymarine, Octopus, TMQ and others can be connected directly. See the FAQ for the wiring colours.

Yes. The controller has a clutch output for hydraulic drives and electromagnetic clutches such as Jefa and Raymarine.

Mount a linear actuator between the transom and the engine or tiller arm and connect it to the controller. A rudder reference unit is recommended.

For tiller or outboard steering: about 300 mm stroke, 50 mm/s, 200 N or more, with end switches. The controller also protects against running into the end stops.

The remote control is out of stock right now, but it should be available again next week.

Yes, the controller will work with the Raymarine T2 actuator and the Raymarine rudder feedback unit.
