Installation in four steps
- 1Fit the tiller pin on the tiller and the socket on the cockpit side, at the distance from the manual.
- 2Click the drive on, run the power cable to the battery (fuse included).
- 3Open the app, calibrate the compass once and set the rudder direction.
- 4Press +1 on the remote: the autopilot holds the course.

Questions from owners
Yes for most tiller-steered boats up to about 11 metres or 6 tons displacement. Heavier boats are better served by a below-deck linear actuator driven by the same controller. Send a photo of your cockpit if in doubt.
Yes. The tiller pin and socket dimensions are the same, so you can reuse your existing mounts. Only the mid-stroke length differs slightly between brands, which you select when ordering.
Yes. The built-in compass steers a heading on its own. With NMEA 0183 or 2000 connected it can also steer to wind angle or follow your plotter.
A few watts while holding course. The drive only runs when a correction is needed, so on a balanced boat consumption is very low.
Yes. For short periods, compass heading will be good enough. Steering on wind angles is also possible, although sailing on wind angles is currently still in beta.
The tiller autopilot I sell works perfectly on your boat. The complete tiller drive kit costs 590 euros.
Yes. The autopilot has an API. You can interface it via Serial (UART), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or NMEA. NMEA2000 and Bluetooth are bidirectional. Serial and Wi-Fi are not bidirectional by default, although Wi-Fi can be made bidirectional as well.
Yes. The tiller drive has a built-in limit switch and also rudder feedback, and both help prevent running to the end. The autopilot can also steer the boat while motoring. Chartplotter support is on the roadmap; currently the autopilot can be controlled by remote and app, and later also via a dedicated display.
